Why Email Setup Matters
It is crucial to ensure that your email setup is correct and functional. If you are the owner of the workspace, the email you signed up with is automatically set as the default notification email. This means you will receive lead notifications at this email address by default. If you prefer to receive notifications at a different email, follow the instructions below to update your lead notification settings.
Why SMS Notifications Are Important
While email notifications are sent in real time, they can sometimes experience delays due to network and server processing. Additionally, there is a risk that emails might land in your spam or promotional folders, causing you to miss critical updates. Setting up SMS notifications ensures that you receive alerts in near real-time, avoiding potential inbox filters or spam issues.
Ensuring Inkris Emails Don’t Land in Spam
To make sure you never miss an email notification, ensure that Inkris emails are not being marked as spam. If you find any Inkris emails in your spam folder, move them to your primary inbox and mark them as important. This ensures all future notifications arrive where you can see them promptly.
Email vs. SMS Notifications
Email notifications are free and enabled by default.
SMS notifications are paid but offer faster, more reliable delivery without spam issues.
Managing SMS & Email Notifications
To Enable or Update Notifications:
Go to Notifications: In “Settings,” navigate to Marketplace Inquiry & Lead Settings and select Notifications & Person of Contact.
Email Notifications: These are always enabled by default and cannot be turned off.
Enable SMS Notifications: Toggle the SMS option to On.
Add Phone Number: Enter your mobile number to receive alerts.
Save Changes: Click Save to confirm.
Subscription Note: If SMS notifications are not included in your plan, you will see an option to "Enable SMS Subscription to receive text notifications." Click on it to activate your SMS alerts.
Changing or Turning Off Notifications
Open Notification Settings: Follow the same path as above.
Edit Preferences: Toggle SMS or email notifications on/off as needed.
Save Changes: Click Save to confirm your updates.
By setting up and managing your notifications effectively, you ensure that you receive timely updates without missing out on critical leads and messages.
